Peak Renewables is a manufacturer of biomass pellets, currently constructing a new facility in Dothan Alabama with an approximate capacity of 150K tons per year.

Wood pellets have become a popular choice as a green and lower cost alternative to fossil fuels like coal. In countries with national policies to decrease GHG emissions, wood pellets have become an economical substitute for coal. We are excited to partner with Rex Lumber and the McRae family on this project.

What an exciting time for Peak Renewables Bioenergy, Dothan! Thanks to the phenomenal commitment and energy of so many people, we moved from breaking ground nine months ago to a plant start up in February 2024!

We are thankful to partner with the amazing group at Rex Lumber, as we scale up to full production and continue our business growth.
