Exciting times for Peak Renewables with the Grand Opening June 4, 2024 of our first facility – Peak Renewables BioEnergy, located in Dothan Alabama.

We were pleased to welcome dignitaries from the City of Dothan and the State of Alabama, along with our amazing partners from Rex Lumber.

Peak BioEnergy is producing pellets made from sustainable biomass, primarily dry shavings from our partner sawmills and secondary wood manufacturing facilities.

Thanks to the team at Peak North America (PNA) who constructed our facility – we were able to move quickly from breaking ground in July 2023 to producing first pellets five months later.  Huge shout out to the skill and commitment of the PNA group.  

Our own team has developed exceptional skills to safely produce quality pellets – and have become a top quartile producer.  Thanks to the committed, hardworking people who make this happen!

Our SBP and PEFC certified pellets are transported to the port of Savannah, Georgia, where they are forwarded on to consumers in Europe.  We continue to develop opportunities throughout North America for additional biomass facilities, and partner with other manufacturers committed to sustainability.
